A Bit Of Heaven

The most beautiful spot!! The cabin was beyond what one might expect. Everything was so clean and cozy. The owner could not be more friendly and helpful. There is a babbling brook next to the cabin we had and it was so very peaceful. A perfect view of the great Lake Superior!! I did not want to leave and would love to go back for a week or two. Thank you, Phil, for a perfect stay.

Never Disappoints

We have stayed here for 8 summers and 1 autumn. Good reason for this; we love it! The cottage is always clean and ready. It is cozy and in a great location. A bonus is Brewery Creek that flows next to the cottage and can be heard babbling. What a peaceful surrounding! Phillip is a wonderful host. We look forward to seeing him every year. We also love the bonfires on the beach and the stunning sunsets. With no light pollution, the night sky is beautiful here on the Keweenaw. Can't say enough good about this gem of a place!

Perfect Getaway Spot

Great place to stay and pet friendly. Philip is a great host who is willing to take time to discuss places to visit and eat while staying in the area. Philip's cottages always contain fresh cut flowers giving one a warm feeling when first entering the cottage. The cottage provides easy access to Lake Superior for great beach walking and agate hunting. We always seem to see bald eagles while walking the beach. This cottage has a nice front porch with great views of the big lake.
